I know I can save a filter for this, but there are no notifications for it. It seems possible to do this with a Google Alert (untested), but native support would be preferred.

There are no plans at present to be able to subscribe to certain keywords, but it is a nice idea.
If you want the functionality to be built, be sure to post it in the ideation category
