Can we merge users?

Hi all!In our user base, it’s not uncommon for people to change domains, or companies and want to retain their history, etc.We used to be able to edit the OpenID string, but that no longer seems to work.Any ideas on how I can merge the old Id into the new one?

Reduced US Support hours for 4th July

Is there a way to create a report for accounts that don't sync in Salesforce?

Hi all -It appears some of our users accounts are not syncing with Salesforce. I am thinking it is because of one of the following reasons - They aren’t using the email associated with SF They aren’t a contact in Salesforce They have an updated email address and we should update in SalesforceFor whatever the reason we’d like to be able to run a report that captures who is not syncing to Salesforce so we can use that data to update records, etc.Is this possible?

Using Insided and Intercom together

Hey all! Does anyone here use Insided for their Community and Intercom as their support tool and external knowledge base? I’m looking to better understand how other teams: Connect their Intercom Articles to Community posts (i.e. how do you cross-reference all of your self-serve content?)  I wish we could have federated search with Intercom Articles and Insided Community posts - have any of you built this on your own? What are group email invites:Email invites are a great way to invite users to public and private groups and therefore grow the amount of group members.Any end user receiving and accepting an email invite for a group will automatically become a member of the group without having to click "Join" (public groups) or "Request to join" (private groups). In the case of private groups, community managers won't need to approve join requests. When to use group email invites:You should use email invites when you wish to invite a specific list of users to a group. Hi all,I wanted to share a Zapier solution that a customer of ours requested. I think it shows the tremendous power and flexibility of Zaps in helping with specific issues you might face. Especially for those issues that are too much of a niche or too org.specific to put on the wider inSided roadmap.The question I received was as follows:Can we automate responses when we get a question on the weekend? How To Enable Members Of Your Community To Upload And Attach Files To Posts

Is your community one which would benefit from allowing members to share files with each other? By default only trusted users (moderators, community managers, and admins) can upload and attach files to posts. From Control, it’s possible to allow anyone on the community to upload a file and attach it to their post to share with the rest of the community. Hi All - We’d like to link cases or bugs to topics or KBAs in the community. We don’t want them as public tags. Because they’re all different, I don’t think labels make sense. Is there any option I’m not thinking of? We’d need to see/search them on the backend only.

Hi, Is it possible to move a Subforum from one category to another one? It may be useful in case we decide to modify a community structure. I'm trying to do this within the control Panel but I can't. Also there is not an ability to specify parent category in Subforum settings.

Hi All 🖐🏻 I am trying to find more information on replying directly to comments, specifically asked this question by one of my colleagues “Is there any way to reply to someones comment directly as opposed to inline with the entire thread?  ie: i dont want to add a reply in the thread (increasing number of thread messages) but rather reply to someones comment in a thread under their comment.”Am I missing something? is this information somewhere else?Please help!
