When you are creating your ranking structure, you might wonder what these settings stand for:

If you activate one of these settings, then you will restrict access to this rank. Only users that own one or more selected roles will then be able to reach this rank.

There are two settings which you can use to further define the group who should be able to get this rank:

"Any of the following"

If you select this option, it means that you can select multiple roles from the list, however a user must only own one of these in order to be able to reach this rank. So you could select:

  • Super User
  • Moderator
  • Community Manager
All of these users then could reach this rank.

"All of the following"

If you select this option, it means that a user needs to have all of the selected roles in order to be able to get this rank.

This is handy when e.g. your group of Super Users is very large, and you only want to reward a small group of them who also owns a second Custom user role (e.g. Beta Tester). This way you can "filter" your rank groups more detailled without having to create another, dedicated Custom user role for this specific rank.
