Announcement related to Hyperlinks

Related products: CC Topic Creation

As some of you have already noticed, we recently encountered an issue where a link would be created whenever two words were connected by a . (dot). The fix we applied is unfortunately affecting any real links you might want to share in topics or replies.

An easy workaround, until we have the right resolution, is to use CTRL + K / command + K. This shortcut will offer you the possibility to copy/paste your url and keep its formatting. It looks like this:

Did you already do some changes related to this?

Links in our community look like this:

Hi Suvi,

no, we did not change the behaviour of hyperlinks of text - the only difference right now is that directly pasted urls are not recognized as url automatically: https://community.insided.com/

Hope this answers your question?!

With the release of the new editor, this issue has been resolved. :)
