Do asking questions with a '?' and the type of question influence responses?

A couple of good and insightful posts here from Feverbee ICYMI;

If You Want An Answer, Ask A Question - Posts which include a ‘?’ (i.e. ask a question in the subject line) get around 52% more responses.
