Want complete control over the content shown in the embeddable widgets on a specific page? From Control, you can easily disable the automatic topic suggestions for a particular page of your website. This means you can push only the content which you believe to be relevant for that page - pretty groovy, right?

Before you start:

  • You’ll need to have set up some trusted domains before you can get started with the following tutorial (to do this, go to Control Integrations  EMBEDDABLE WIDGET Setup and fill out the required information).

How To Disable Automatic Topic Suggestions On Specific Pages In The Embeddable Widgets

  1. Go to Control Integrations  EMBEDDABLE WIDGET Content Configuration.
  2. Hit Add page (or if you’ve already set up the page, hit Edit on the page you want to change).
  3. Turn off the switch labeled Show automatic topic suggestions and press Save changes.
  4. You’re done! On all matching pages, automatic topic suggestions will no longer be shown in the embeddable widgets.

The embeddable widgets only display if content is found for the current page (to avoid your users seeing a blank widget). If you disable automatic topic suggestions and don’t add any topics to the page, then the widgets simply won't display on any matching URLs.
