Hey gang :hand_splayed:

There’s a few situations in our community where I’d like to provide additional guidance to members on the format of their post. I’m thinking things like introductions, job postings and the like where it’s good to give the writer a reminder about good information to include.

Is there any way to, by category, set some sort of template or message that appears in or alongside the WYSIWYG editor to remind users about information to include in their post?

Hi @Onomatopoeia :v: ,

Hope all is well with you.

I’m wondering if you could use the inSidedData object for this...

This will allow you to create dynamic content based on certain topics, categories and more. For this use case, you could add custom HTML widgets containing a bullet pointed list of information to include e.g. for a jobs postings category, this could include location, deadline, a link to the company’s website etc.

You wouldn’t be able to add this directly into the WYSIWYG editor but you could have this widget alongside it in the sidebar, for instance.

Let me know how you get on with this and if you need any help, just give me a shout!
