How to set up descending sort by date of artilces in Knowledge Base categories?

Currently, all new articles added to the category appear at the bottom of the category. There is a way of sort articles in subcategories using drag-n-drop, but this is very inconvenient when you have a lot of them.

Is there a way to set up the default sorting of articles in a category at least by date? I would also think of sorting by a number of views, replies, helpfulness, etc.
