Change an article from Published to scheduled

Is it possible to change content that has already been published to be unpublished and scheduled to be published at a future date?

We’re currently populating our new community prior to go live, and we unintentionally published content we planned to drip feed over the next few months… 🤦🏽

Thank you

Nope, you’ll need to delete and add again. There is no “unpublished” state in inSided.

Ah, ok thanks Scott!

Otherwise what you can do is move that article to a hidden subcategory that only admins have access to. then you can pull it back into the desired subcategory whenever you are ready.

we do that sometimes if there is some content that we don’t want to be seen (yet) or we don’t want to pop up  in the activity feed or clog it up (e.g. if we share multiple articles at the same time)

keep in mind that the “publish date” will be the date of first publishing. :)

That is not possible I’m afraid @ellie.jordan.rh

Both solutions provided by Scott and Daniele would be ideal in this instance, thanks for helping us 🤗
