Want to know more about the content in your community? Here’s an introduction to the Content Dashboard, its features and how to use them. You’ll be a content expert in no time!

How To Use the Content Dashboard

  1. Go to Control > Analytics > Content Dashboard.
  2. Select a time range with the datepicker in the top right corner.
  3. Hit Apply, and you’re done. The dashboard will now display content data over the selected time range.

Topics / Replies / Likes

The amount of topics started, replies and likes given on any post in the selected time range. The percentage value shows an increase or decrease in started topics compared to the previous period.

Activity chart

New topics and new replies plotted on a timeline. Hover over the line or date label to get detailed information in a tooltip.

Created topic types

Breakdown of topic types created in the selected time range. Click one (or multiple) topic type and Confirm selection to update the selection and associated charts.


Activity per user role

Breakdown of user roles that created content in the selected time range. Click one (or multiple) roles and Confirm selection to update the selection and associated charts.


Popular categories

Lists the most popular categories in the selected time range. Popularity is based on the amount of topics created in a category. By default, the table is sorted by number of topics created.


Popular categories (detailed view)

Click Show more next to the table title to enter the detailed categories view; on this view, you can see more information, including:
Category: Title of the category
Topics: Amount of topics posted in the category
Replies: Amount of replies posted in the category
Likes: Amount of likes given on topics and replies in the category
Contributors: Unique contributors on topics in the category
avg Response time (min): Average time in minutes between topic start and first reply
avg Answer time (min): Average time in minutes between the topic start and the reply that is marked as best answer
Single user topics: Amount of topics where only 1 contributor was active
Topics without replies: Amount of topics that have no replies

Popular topics

Lists the most popular topics in the selected time range. Popularity is based on amount of replies created in a topic. By default, the popular topics table is sorted by number of replies. Clicking View will bring you to the topic moderation page.

Popular topics (detailed view)

Click Show more next to the table title to enter the detailed topics view; on this view, you can see more information, including:
Topic: Title of the topic
Category: Title of the category in which the topic was posted
Replies: Amount of replies in the topic
Likes: Amount of likes given on the topic start
Contributors: Amount of unique users that contributed in the topic
View: URL that will open the topic in the topic moderation view


💎 Previous period refers to the amount of days in the selected time range (e.g. 30 days) before the active selection.
🎯 Click Clear all selections to see all available data over the entire lifecycle of your community.
